Honolulu DUI Lawyer, Experienced Aggressive Defender for All DUI Charges in Hawaii

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, about 1.5 million people were arrested in a given year for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. That means that one out of every 121 licensed drivers were arrested and charged with drunk driving with the possibility of being convicted and facing the penalties of a DUI conviction. In every state, it is illegal to operate a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08% or higher. Yet for every 88 instances of driving, someone is arrested for operating a motor vehicle above the legal limit. Within two hours of drinking, 772 drivers will be arrested for drunk driving.

In 2011, 9,878 people were killed in alcohol-impaired-driving crashes. These alcohol-impaired driving fatalities accounted for 31 percent of the total motor vehicle traffic fatalities in the United States
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), "A motor vehicle crash is considered to be alcohol-related if at least one driver or non-occupant (such as a pedestrian or pedal cyclist) involved in the crash is determined to have had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .01 gram per deciliter (g/dL) or higher. Thus, any fatality that occurs in an alcohol-related crash is considered an alcohol-related fatality. The term 'alcohol-related' does not indicate that a crash or fatality was caused by the presence of alcohol."

What some of our clients have to say about Rick....

caret-down caret-up caret-left caret-right

I met with Richard Holcomb to review my DUI charge. He is very knowledgeable in the law system and answered all my questions. He explained the strategy along with his commitment...I knew I was in good hands. My case was dismissed and I am extremely happy with Richard's service. I would highly recommend Richard Holcomb in your DUI case.

A miracle- what more can one say?

We were recommended to Mr. Holcomb by a trusted attorney. His recommendation proved invaluable, as Mr. Holcomb and his associate, Mr. Kevin O'Grady managed to win the case, with complete dismissal of all charges! Given the circumstances, this result is nothing short of miraculous, but clearly a reflection of the considerable skill, experience and depth of knowledge of the law that made this miracle a reality.

DUI case dismissed with prejudices and ALDRO case won!!

Mr. Holcomb managed my case very thoroughly and obtained the best possible results!
I was arrested at a DUI roadblock and from the very beginning he was clear with me - he would fight my case but could not promise any outcome. The first session was free and he provided an overview of how the process would be and somewhat the possibilities that we had for both cases.
During the entire process, he managed to provide me with temporary driving licenses, so that I was able to drive for the entire period. He is highly professional and provide you with sufficient precise information so that you can take certain key decisions on how to move your case forward.
I recommend 100% his services. He is not the cheapest lawyer in town. But if you really want the race, better to drive a Ferrari rather than a Kia!
